5　Manufacturing Execution System

5.1　General Requirements

5.1.1　MES functional model for refineries and petrochemical plants shall comply with Figure 5.1.1.

5.1.2　Design of MES should employ the logic structure shown in Figure 5.1.2.

5.1.3　All sub-systems of MES shall be integrated based on unified data integration platform，and shall be provided with interfaces to integrate with process control system and enterprise operation management system.

5.1.4　OTS shall be provided for the main process units with complex operations and interlocks.
